Our Team

New Arising Christian Church began with a God-given vision. In 2000, Pastor James and Pastor Susan experienced a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit that would change the course of their lives. Through a vision of writing on a wall, God revealed the name, New Arising Christian Church, and began to stir a call to ministry in their hearts.

Pastor James was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, and came to the United States. Pastor Susan grew up right here in Worcester, Massachusetts, and served in the United States Army before returning to the area. The two met through work, and after getting married, they began to recognize God's calling on their lives to serve Him and plant a church in their community.

What began as a vision in 2000 has grown into a church family built on faith, prayer, community, and a desire to see people encounter Jesus. They have experienced countless miracles through their ministry including physical healing, deliverance from addictions and mental struggles, and financial breakthrough. At NACC we truly believe in the power of healing, that God is still healing today, and His will is to heal you. They are grateful for all God has done through NACC and are excited for all He is still going to do.

Outside of ministry, they love keeping life simple and spending time together. Their favorite tradition is their weekly date — whether that means grabbing coffee, going window shopping, or simply enjoying time with one another.

Their heart is simple: to love God, love people, and continue making Jesus known in their community and beyond.
